RMT status register

I am looking for away to check how many entries have been received by the RMT RX.
There is a status register in the SDK: RMT_CH0STATUS_REG (for channel zero at base+0x60), but the content is undocumented.
Default value for mee seems to be: 0x1C01C0 and changes to something like 0x31C01CE when data is received where the lower bits depend on the count.

More info would be appreciated.

That does indeed look like an omission in the ESP32 Technical Reference manual. There appears to be a bunch of RMT registers described in the headers not documented.
