idf.py gdb fails

Hello,
I wanted to setup my debug environment in OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, I successfully installed esp-idf and when I ran I got it listening for the GDB server
However when I tried running
I got problem with the python site packages
So I checked where the bin is sourcing from, I got
I would like to understand what causing this issue, anyone came across this situation?
