Access to ESP WEB SERVER through VPN crash HTTP server

Hello,

I have a VPN server on my internet connexion via my TP-LINK router on Open Wrt.

All the internet trafic is redirected through VPN. The OpenWrt web gui is okay via the VPN.

When I try to access to esp device via my VPN i got this error: httpd_txrx: httpd_sock_err: error in send : 0

Then the web server is completely crahed, even on my local network it doesn't answer to any request.

Because I'm on ESP8266EX I applied manually this patch : https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/co ... 2c71d2eb2d It doesn't help.

Can you please tell me if I can enable higher debug level on ESP WEB SERVER or LWIP stack to locate the issue?

Hi Elliot,

Did you manage to connect the ESP32 (or ESP8266) to a VPN network? I'm intrested on doing so but I not sure where to start.
