I'm just trying to evaluate the SystemView application as a possible additional tool for debugging and I'm running into issues with the example heap logging application.
I'm following the example https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/tr ... g_heap_log and I have managed to get svdat files out of the debugger. I've tried the example as a single core application and also as a dual core application.
The SystemView application allows me to browse for a file no problem. When I click on a file it tells me that it is reading the data and then just appears to hang. I've left the application for a minute or two (there is only 12K of data) and there is no progress on importing the data.
I'm using the 4.1 release SDK and the tools are 2020r2.
Anyone come across this and know of a workaround?
