32KHz configuration IDF menuconfig

hi,

IDF menuconfig mentions the following option for 32KHz.
RTC clock source (External 32kHz crystal) --->
[ ] Additional current for external 32kHz crystal

Enabling this option causes 10ua increase current during deep sleep.
Can someone explain the reason for that? What are the advantages and disadvantages of doing so?
