idf monitor failed

Postby a22zsol » Fri May 22, 2020 4:02 pm

VSCode Version = 1.45.1
VSCode IDF-Ext = 0.2.2(initially tried with 0.2.1)
Windows 10 Pro 10.0.18362
ESP-IDF = v4.0.1(initially tried with v4.0.0)

Error which i get when running "ESP-IDF: monitor" :-
E:\Workspace\esp32v4\hello_world>set IDF_PATH=e:\espressif\esp-idf-v4.0\esp-idf
E:\Workspace\esp32v4\hello_world>E:\espressif\esp-idf-v4.0\python_env\idf4.0_py3.7_env\Scripts\python.exe e:\espressif\esp-idf-v4.0\esp-idf\tools\idf.py -p COM6 monitor

I am not able to resolve this issue even after doing a fresh install. I manually deleted all installation, config files and folders related to esp-idf and extension. One thing i did is i downloaded the release version of esp-idf from githhub separately(as onboarding was taking lot of time to download) and extracted it. During onboarding when asked for esp-idf, i point it to extracted folder. Then proceed for downloading the esp-tools. While installation i am not getting error.

I have already posted this in "ESP-IDF VSCode Ext community", they are saying its idf issue.
