Loading firmware images from SD Card??

I see someone asked about the OTA process here
https://esp32.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t= ... ard#p57551 and I am also curious about using the SD Card to hold multiple firmware images which could be selected, say using an LCD menu with push buttons.

That's interesting, though it seems really tightly bound into the M5 ecosystem. Maybe it can be pulled apart into something more general purpose.
