I changed the value of appearance in Espressif repo example (ble_hid_device_demo) here

but when I read the value in Generic Acess service with the Android app BLE Scanner this show a "UNKNOWN APPEARANCE". I tried values 0x03c3 (joystick) and 0x03c4 (gamepad), but they don't work. When I try values 0x03c1(keyboard) and 0x03c2 (mouse) the appearance works perfectly on Android. I think this is somehow related to this discussion
