ESP idf and Visual Studio Code/Platform IO

Postby drmacro » Mon Aug 12, 2019 3:16 pm

Hi I'm using the IDF in Visual Studio Code/PlatformIO.

I think the IDF is installed in PlatformIO, but, I get the following error if I attempt to compile an example from IDF:

#include errors detected. Please update your includePath. Squiggles are disabled for this translation unit (/home/mac/SharedData/Projects/DMX_Dimmer/MCPWM_basic_config/ESP-PWM/src/mcpwm_basic_config_example.c).

cannot open source file "soc/mcpwm_periph.h"

I created the directory and put the .c file there from the github page.

I'm guessing I missed some setup. Coding was much simpler before IDE's...

Thanks,
Mac

Changed the subject to the file it can't find.

Finds driver/mcpwm.h but not mcpwm_periph.h

the file is not found in any of the frame works on the system...

Did the name get changed?
