Newbie question

I'm just getting into this, and I have a need to compare two files. It seems that in the ESP-IDF using the bash implementation that comes with msys32, there's no diff command. I found bzdiff, but that fails at line 68 where it can't find diff.
How does one compare files around here?

Thanks. It's late. I'll try it tomorrow.

Wefive,
Thanks. This worked.
Is there a newbie section in the espressif forum where the answers to simple newbie questions like mine are addressed?

Not really. Sometimes Google site search works better than the built in search though.

For what it's worth, I've found DiffPlug to be a nice (free) diff tool under MacOS. And I used WinDiff back in the days when I labored under Windows...
