Need Event to check External Connectivity for WiFi or Ethernet

Hi ESP32 SDK Developers,
We are using ESP32 device with SDK since one year and we are managing external connectivity by ourself.
So, Is there any support already included into ESP32 SDK specific into Event Handler to get ever like you have external connectivity as well.
I am just thinking like it will be good if you have that kind of event which will be helpful to application developers as well.
Let me give one example like I have configuted my mobile hotspt as router and connected my ESP32 device with it which has external connectivity as well.
Now, Suddenly, I have turned off mobile data but still hotspot is active then as that time I believe there is no event activity triggered for that.
So, Let me know is it possible for that kind of feature to include into ESO32 SDK or let me know if already event has been included.
If already event has been included then into which ESP32 IDF?
