Alexa voice assistant running on esp32

First of all, I am a student and I'm starting in esp32 programming. I saw a video of esp32 running an alexa client, and I want to do the same project, but I have been trying to load the code with the esp idf and i can't, the code is old and I don't know how to configure the files.
Is there someone who can help me?
