Debugging with the J-Link EDU Mini
Can the J-Link EDU Mini be used as a debug tool for the ESP32?

Re: Debugging with the J-Link EDU Mini
J-link is supported and the Edu Mini variation is purported to have the same functionality, so I'd say yes. Do note that a J-link is not the fastest debug solution out there, though; you may be better off grabbing an FT2232H-based board.

Thank you for the response.
I purchased a dev board from Ali Express and cannot figure out which config file to use with the OpenOCD. Again using Ubuntu 18.0.4; and VSCode. I am trying to figure out the parameters for the JTAG (FT2232H) device so I can choose a config file.
JTAG description from Ali Express is: FT2232HL Development Board Learning Board FT2232H MINI FT4232H UM232H Development Board Module USB to SPI Dual Serial Port. Here is the link: https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.h ... _edm_other.
I can't find a datasheet to help me figure out the correct config file.
