BLE GATT_SERVER_SERVICE_TABLE EXAMPLE

I have been exploring on the BLE options on ESP32. The GATT_SERVER_SERVICE_TABLE Example is a good one. I went through the documents, they are all good and have covered a lot of things. Did not find anything regarding this. I would like to know where does the application wait in case of this example. If we initialize the BT Stack, will the application wait endlessly?
