Saving data on 4MB additional RAM available on ESP32 Wroom

Hi. I am using esp32 wroom which has addiotnal 4mb ram. We are trying to capture data from a sensor and read it in the 4mb ram and later send the data to server. I am suing ESP32 IDF and was able to activate 4mb ram on wroom however i am not able to save data on the RAM which is given in the sensor. Kindly help on how can i save data on the 4mb ram

I believe that Expressif is not providing PSRAM into WROOM 32 moduke as they are providing PSRAM into ESP32 WROVER modules. So, Please confirm that have you connected externally or not.

So, If you have connected externally then what are the configuration you have selected for PSRAM?
