Changing wifi settings over time

Hi.

I have a project where I am able to connect to wifi as station using the typical examples code. Everything works fine.

But then I want to change the wifi settings, moving from one SSID to another. I am not able to make this happen! I have tried various configurations of which api calls to use, but it is not clear from reading the docs which calls do I call once, and which can I call multiple times?

Does anyone have an example of what to call once for setup, and what to call each time I want to connect to a different AP ?
