1 ESP that Subs and Pubs to an MQTT Topic?

Hi i just startet before some days programming on my esp32 and already managed to get him connected to my wlan and to my mqtt server. subscribing and publishing works now too.

But i wanted to use both in combination like.
sub to /device/config and pub to /device/information
so that i can give commans to the esp via /device/config.

does someone know if this is possible?
