Pin glitch on boot - input with pullup activates relay

I have seen an option for the esp8268 called early_pin_init = false.
I can't find a similar thing for the ESP32 - S3 - wroom module.
I have a board where the internal pull up is enough to turn on the transistor that drives a relay causing it to pulse on multiple times during boot. I have our first production boards so I can't add a pull down resistor to those boards.
Any way I can modify this in a fuse or menuconfig option?
