In ethernet mode, how to obtain the router MAC address?

Postby werluxuesong » Fri Jun 30, 2017 12:53 pm

Hi,
In a project I encountered a problem,Esp32 devices connected to the router through Ethernet, how to determine that they are connected to the same router? or in the same LAN? Does the current SDK have APIs to get the router's MAC address? Or is there any way to determine that multiple devices are connected to the same router? :D

Your router probably has a web interface where you can look for the dhcp client list. this will tell you which devices are connected to your router.

You can use etharp functions but why not use mdns to see if they can discover each other?
