Esp 32 Non-dev-board

Hey Guys,
I would like to develop a very small setup to use it with wearable-devices. Currently, I am working with the ESP32 Thing Dev Board from sparkfun, but I would like to migrate to a smaller setup later in the project.
Do you know any really small boards, which doesn't need to have micro-usb ports and such stuff useful for development only.
I found a really small dev-board by Kris Winer, and it looks great so far but it is still a dev board with micro-usb onboard.
I would like to have a board, where I can attach a micro-usb-to-serial adapter to load my code on the board without wasting space for such a conversion on the final board.
By the way, the self-made board by Kris looks great and I will definitely order few of them.

Kind regards,
Robin
