Respected Sir/Madam,

We have been using ESP32 for one of our project of Smart Home appliance. We have observed that when we provide supply through SMPS having specificaton of 230V AC to 5V DC @700mA, the touch pad does not sense and is not detected.

We have tried several approaches for the same. For eg. We have supplied power through TTL module and with this the touch sense works fine. We are pretty sure that we have some hardware bugs that needs to be fixed. Please provide your valuable inputs regarding the same.

Regards,

What hardware (devboards, LDO, specific SMPS, ...) are you using? Are you sure your 5V doesn't have a lot of high-frequency noise on it? I hope you're not powering the ESP32 chip directly from the 5V supply?
