Hi everyone,

I'm searching for smart plug or bulb that has open API so I could control it from ESP32 over WiFi or Bluetooth. I found LIFX bulbs, they look like a thing I'm searching for but they are pricey I just need something to play around with. I know I can create smart plug with relay but I'm a noob in this so I would not want to burn down my house

Which probably means somebody is MP an esp32 bulb which will also be marketed as Dev HW, any signs of it yet?

When I got hired to do an ESP32 based project I reversed engineered the BLE communications on their older product because I wasn't easily able to get the info.
