I would like to ask, has anyone ever used XR21V1410 to make the USB connection with a PICO-V3 and implemented the automatic programming with it? I am considering this chip for my board, but am concerned whether its default configuration (automatic RTS/manual DTR) will work to control the EN and IO0 lines and program the ESP32.
Thank you.

It will be much easier if you use CP2102, FT232RL, or CH340. Usually ESP32 boards have CP2102 chips.

Yes, I know and have used those before. But the XR chip has particular advantages in my current scenario in terms of size and cost.
