Hello, I am running into an issue where my ESP32-S3-USB-OTG is not charging the lithium ion battery connected. It is powering the ESP32, just not charging. I thought maybe it was my poor soldering but I had another person solder it and still doesn’t work. Perhaps I’m missing something? Faulty device? Do I need to do a hard reset of the device? Would it make a difference that I’m running an arduino sketch vs esp-did?
I have another device where it is confirmed working and charging
Thanks for any help!

Do you have SW1 set to 'off'? What's the reason you concluded the battery is not charging?

Hi, yeah I have the Switch set to off.
I concluded it does not charge because of two factors:
1. The Red Light that indicates that it is supposed to be charging does not Light Up at al
2. My arduino sketch which monitors the battery percentage and voltage is indicating it is not going up, or if i leave it plugged in, and check later -- the percentage still does not rise -- only falls.
