Dear,
I am designing my own PCB for a ESP-S3 WROOM module. I will use the ESP-Prog to program my board.
I have looked in the documentation for the requirements of the interface and preferably some examples of the interface design on the user side. The ESP-Prog documentation states that there are examples of the design of the interface on the user board side, but when I activate the link, it loops back to the text I have just read.
Please, inform me on the requirements on the interface to an ESP-Prog on the user side. Shall there be pull-ups on the Enable and Boot lines? Shall I include a capacitor to ground on the Enable and Boot lines?
Regards,
Jorgen
User board interface to ESP-Prog.
Re: User board interface to ESP-Prog.
Dear,
I have found some information in the ESP32 documentation. The Enable shall have 10k pull-up and 1 uF to ground. The GPIO0 (BOOT) does not need an external pull-up, since it has an internal. Despite that, I have applied a 10k external pull-up and 1 nF to ground.
I am sorry to have bothered you, before I studied the ESP32 documentation carefully.
Regards,
Jorgen
