I am using an ESP32-C3-DevKitM1. 'esptool chip_id' reports "Warning: ESP32-C3 has no Chip ID. Reading MAC instead." Is this normal, and if not, can it be forced to its correct value, 5?

our board does the same, using a esp32-c3-mini module. -Not sure if that makes it normal or not.
