How many useable ADC pins/GPIO are on ESP32-Wroom really?

Googling "Esp32 number of ADC pins" yields "ESP32 has 18 ADC channels".
Yet, the datasheet and pinout diagrams indicate only 16 are available, with GPIO9 reserved for WIFI use. How many ADC-enabled pins are there really on ESP32-Wroom?
The pinout diagram (https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... pinout.png) also indicates, that 6 GPIO pins are reserved for flash memory and therefore are unavailable. How many GPIO pins are there really then?
