Four months ago the status of the ESP32-S2-SOLO(-U) and ESP32-S2-MINI-1(U) modules was changed to "Not recommended for new designs", with their replacements being the new ESP32-S2-SOLO-2(U) and ESP32-S2-MINI-2(U) modules which integrate the "ESP32-S2 ECO1 with improved RF performance".
But now, four months later, these new modules still do not appear to be available nor do they even have datasheets or any other documentation. We have a board in development based on the ESP32-S2-SOLO-U but needless to say the big "NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NEW DESIGNS" warning on page 1 of the datasheet combined with the complete lack of information about these replacement modules is starting to make us rather nervous.
When can we expect these new modules to be available?
When will information be available about the ESP32-S2 ECO1 changes?
Will these new modules be 100% pin-compatible with their previous revisions? Can we safely prototype based on the ESP32-S2-SOLO-U and then expect to be able to drop in the ESP32-S2-SOLO-2U for production?

I'm very curious on your reply on these questions.
