Hi,
The ESP32 S3 seems to be in mass production according to the ESP Product Selector, but the datasheet still has "Preliminary" watermark on it. Is it safe to assume the preliminary datasheet is good for the mass production ESP32 S3 ?
ESP32 S3 Status/Datasheet
Re: ESP32 S3 Status/Datasheet
Additionally, is S3 WROOM 2 a separate product line, or like 2nd generation of S3 WROOM ?

Well, a preliminary datasheet is preliminary for a reason: some of the values might not have gotten the amount of testing that we would normally be happy with, and that would generally apply to e.g. RF performance numbers and some AC/DC characteristics. If your application has a hard requirement on any of those numbers to be 100% spot on, I'd suggest you email sales@espressif.com first in order to confirm them.
From what I can tell, Wroom1 has OPI flash/psram while Wroom2 has QSPI flash. As OPI is faster but QSPI allows 4 more IO pins to be used, I'm decently sure these models will co-exist.
