Dear reader,

I was wondering if someone could help me out with the following question:
What connections are necessary for a esp32 module after i flashed the chip using a programming board?

Can i take off the esp32 module and only connect the vcc and gnd to start working?

You need GND, VCC, a RC network on EN, and you need to make sure the bootstrap pins have the right values. Suggest you check with the datasheets and the hardware reference guidelines for more info.
