Hello,
I have a board with ESP32-C3. When I try to reset, the console doesn't output anything.
If I try to put the board in bootloader mode, it sends me

Code: Select all

"ESP-ROM:?ESP?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP?ESP-ROM:esp32ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?ESP-ROM:?"
while I keep the IO9 down. In any case, I can't use esptool.py or any other way to upload firmware (I didn't try the JTAG).

Why? Could it be because of a problem uploading the bootloader in address 0x0000?

Thank you,
Mattia

Reason found: it was a solder joint not done well.
