ESP32-WROVER Footprint,

Hi,

I am hacking together a quick PCB board that supports both the ESP-WROOM-32 and ESP-WROVER modules. Does anyone know if the ESP-WROVER module has a ground pad in the same location as the ESP-WROOM-32? Also from ESP32.NET it seems the ESP-WROVER is using the 1.8V IS25WP032 FLASH (ESP-SRAM); which means GPIO6-11 and GPIO16,17 are at 1.8V ? Is there a way to get access to VDD_SDIO?

Best

Al

I don't think vdd-sdio is broken out but gpio16-17 are used by the ram anyway.

GPIO16 -> NC
GPIO17 -> NC

best wishes

edit: btw, if you see the shematic of Wrover Kit V2, there is footprint for Wrover and Wroom, but there is Gpio16 and GPIO17 on the footprint. but i think this is only cosmetic
and not functionally cause PSRAM version...
