Improved version of ESP32-CAM?

Is there an improved version of the ESP32-CAM board? Or plans to have it in a near future?

Not sure how useful it is to ask here, as Espressif does not manufacture the ESP32-CAM. I think it's an AI-Thinker product, but perhaps by now other companies are also making clones. The ESP-Eye is the development board created by Espressif that comes closest to it.
