Wifi RTT Esp32s2 Wroom

Hey esp32rs,

I'm eager to get started with the RTT/FTM feature of the new esp32s2 and am hoping to order some wroom units asap. I'm reading on github that a current limitation is TOF measurements with "normal wifi packets", is that to say that if I have two esp32s2's communicating I will not be able to gain access to this information in any way at this time?

Edit: Sorry, noticed in the esp32-s2 status message on this forum that at this time it's unsupported. Can anybody internal comment on ETA for this functionality (in terms of it's high priority so impending, or low priority so months)?

I just received a bunch of ESP32-S2:s today and would love to start playing with Wi-Fi RTT!
Will ranging be available in the long range wifi mode for ESP-to-ESP communication?

According to the Status page (https://esp32.com/viewtopic.php?p=56361) this should be item WIFI-1722 which is marked as unsupported.

We are also very keen to get it available so that we can then us it in our Esp32-S2 devboard https://github.com/StetelThings/Maia-Esp32s2-Devboard.

The bad thing is that the Status page has been updated on May 10th for the last time Hope someone from the ESP_* guys can give shed some light.
