Hello Everyone,
recently I bought the DOIT ESP32 DevKit and everything was working fine until today. Suddenly I am no longer able to upload anything to the board. Before when I pressed the BOOT Button I was able to upload programs to the ESP32. Now the connection just times out. I also get no output at all from the serial connection, although Windows does recognise the USB to UART Chip.
Do you have any idea what could cause this and how to get the board working again?
Thank you in advance,
Luca

Hard to say. If you start a terminal program on the com-port (at 115200 baud) and press boot, what do you see? Also, does manually connecting GPIO0 to ground and pressing reset help?

As I said I don't see anything coming through at the com-port(Although previously I did manage to get output at the com-port, so this isn't a driver issue). Connecting GPIO0 to ground did not help.ESP_Sprite wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 7:43 pmHard to say. If you start a terminal program on the com-port (at 115200 baud) and press boot, what do you see? Hm, in that case it's pretty hard to diagnose anything remotely except for 'it's dead', sorry.
