ESP32 WROOM 32

Hi guys,
I need to use the ESP32 WROOM 32 in BLE mode connecting my device ( uController) via UART. I am a little bit confused about the right way to do that both hardware and firmware.
I want to use the ESP32 chip as module I mean managing it via serial port ( with at command would be great).
Are there same application note that explain that or somethink like that?
