Hi all,

I notice that there are so many ESP32 module suppliers in China. For the ESP32-WROOM-32 module, some can be as cheap as US$1.6 while some goes for as much as US$3.34. They all look the same but yet have a large difference in price. I suspect some of them use cheap components and might have poor wireless range.

How would you evaluate and choose which supplier to go for?

I would say only buy official wroom-32d/u with espressif logo and fccid.

The cheap ones have Espressif and FCC logos too. So there is no way to tell if its real or fake or if the quality is good or bad.
