ESP32-LyraT LDO

Hi,
The ESP32-LyraT EVB uses a LD1117S33CTR LDO to provide the 3.3V (VDD33) supply.
This LDO input is driven either by the USB interface or by the LIPO battery.
The LDO dropout voltage is about 1V-1.3V, which means minimum LDO input should be about 4.3V-4.6V.
However, to the best of my understanding, when using the LIPO battery, this limits significantly the
usable LIPO operating voltage or capacity, as the battery voltage may be drop down to even ~3.7V
when discharging.
Can anyone please elaborate on this issue?
Thanks,
Nahum.
