ESP32-S3 JTAG pins and USB-JTAG

When using the ESP32-S3 with internal USB-JTAG, may the external JTAG pins (GPIO39, GPIO40, GPIO41, GPIO42) be used for another purpose?

My confusion comes from the somewhat conflicting information of the Tips and Quirks (https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... thing-else) and Configure Builtin-JTAG (https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... -jtag.html) pages.

Hi oursland,
When USB_SERIAL_JTAG is used as a JTAG interface, GPIOs 39-42 may be used for another purpose.
