Hi,
Has anyone been able to get the ESP-PROG to provide Serial communication information at all?
I just cannot get that function to work on 2x brand new ESP-PROG modules.
I have installed the VCP drivers and those ports are visible.
When I connect to the "higher" Serial port I see no data whatsoever.
When I try to program a device (ESP-01/ESP32) using the ESP-PROG the green LED flashes but there is no return data.
I have used the JTAG feature to debug an ESP32 board and that works, but wiring the Serial/Program port at the same time does not work either.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: ESP-PROG Serial Communication
Hi,
Are you able to see the two COM ports detected when connecting the ESP-PROG?
Usually the COMx is the JTAG and COMx+1 is the serial port. Can you check if you can use the COMx+1 and try a simple loopback test?
For more details about, see this reference guide.

Re: ESP-PROG Serial Communication
Both ESP-PROG and 2232HL have worked with my ESP32 and ESP32-S2 boards supporting
- program download
- debugging
- serial communication with Kitty

Hi,
Thanks to you both for your responses.
Apologies for the delay on my side.
@ESP_Minatel - I tested the feedback loop last night and it worked.
I'll do some more testing later and get back to you.
