ESP32-C3-MINI-1 module

I'm very happy about the C3-MINI; exactly what I need.
But, why is there so much GND and NC - Pins. Why not making the thing smaller (lesser pins) or similar big pins like the ESP-8266 pin size?

Hi ritzeng,

Consider coming ESP32-C3-WROOM-02 module.
The pins are bigger and more accessible (no redundant NC / GND).
It is slightly bigger though: 20 x 18 mm (vs 16.6 x 13.2 mm for ESP32-C3 MINI-1).

It is not unusual for wireless modules to have ground pads like that in the antenna area. Also mini is a common form factor so there are other modules that have more gpios instead of NC.
