Mac OSX Catalina crashes when connection ESP32_DevKit_V4

Everytime I connect an ESP32_DevKitC_V4 via USB to my Mac the Mac crashes with the following crash dump. Other devices work with the same CP2101 driver but all ESP32_DevKitCs lead to a crash. Any idea what's behind that?
