ESP-WROOM-32D and Camera

Hi, I am new here, this topic is both hardware and software, is it considered spamming the forum if I post it twice?
I am working on a project that uses the ESP32 WROOM board to control a distance sensor, MicroSD card, Real Time module, GPS module(future) and a camera. For the camera I have the Arducam Mini-2MP board. I have everything running except the camera and I seem to be unable to make the camera work. The samples I find are for the ESP32-CAM module that has the SD card already on chip. Do I need a different Camera all together? Or can somebody point me to some sample code that should work with my configuration?
