ESP32 RF calibration

Hi,

According to this page, https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... ation.html#,
ESP32 will run full RF calibration when the NVS is empty.

1. Where is that RF calibration code located? Is it part of ROM boot code? or boot loader?

2. What are the physical conditions to run the RF calibration?
Does antenna need to be attached before running the full calibration?
Does the device need to be placed in the shield box?

1. in phy lib and/or ROM
2. Antenna attached. I think you want to calibrate to typical operating environment, not shield box
