Hello!
How are the rf settings used by the fcc test application changed?
It seems like the ESP32_FCC_WIFI_BT_20161129.bin application only works if loaded to address 0x1000 and no secondary bootloader being used.
The older ESP32_FCC_WIFI_20161010.bin is starting when I try a configuration with a bootloader, phy init data, and application (Like our application fw). I can't see the phy settings making any difference though.
I generate the rf settings using the ESP32 DOWNLOAD TOOL V3.4.4 and get a file named "esp_init_data_setting.bin". What shall I do with this file?
Any help is appreciated. I have searched the ESP32 Certification and Test guide and this forum for info on this.

Hi espola,
Because bootloader of ESP32 starts from 0x1000, the sector is empty.
Thanks

Ok thanks,
it also seems like the settings file generated by the flash tool is not accepted by applications built using the esp-idf so I will drop this issue.
