Which ESP32 with IPEX

Hi,
I developed a project on ESP-WROOM-32 that notify me when door are open using magnetic sensor. In turn out that I need to adjust project, so it works outside, inside metal chassis and located far from my wifi (around 40m).

I though of using another ESP32 that has IPEX connector and get wifi antenna outside of chassis, like ESP32-CAM or ESP32-WROOVE. Could someone point me which one would be better of for this project? Also if you could advice me what battery set I should use? I am aware that only Lithium or LiFePo4 are working properly in temperatures below zero, but maybe you have an tested some battery set outside already for ESP32 and can advice me something.
