Analog Comparator?

Postby phatpaul » Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:14 pm

Is there an analog comparator function on this chip?
If not is there a hack to get similar function?
  • I have an input signal 0~30V (divided to 0~2.7V) that I need to compare with a threshold ~5V (divided 0.45V).
I need to detect both rising and falling edge. Latency < 10us.
Hysteresis of about 50mV would be nice.
    Adjustable threshold would be nice.
A single input pin would be nice because I have no extra IO left on this chip (vs output a DAC signal on a pin to an external comparator to another digital input pin)

According to the ESP32 datasheet, the RTC Controller's ADC can sample at 200ksps and the DIG Controller's ADC can sample at 2 Msps.
With a max latency of 10 microseconds, you won't have a lot of margin to work with, but maybe.
