External supply

Postby simone91 » Mon Mar 11, 2019 7:30 pm

Hi,

I want to use an ESP32 with an external supply.

For the moment I used an alcaline battery 9v 600mAh, and run correctly. It' s enough? How long it can supply my circuit?

Someone have another advice for the external supply? I would like to use a battery as small as possible.

Using a efficient buck IC will help a lot. And what task you run may have a big impact for the battery life. You can measure the power consumption and the battery life by yourself. I think it's not too hard to operate.

The duration of the is about 4-5 hours... I will find a source that can power it for 20 hours.

Can you advice me?
