ESP32-WROOM-32 module's power and ground pins showing connectivity

Postby Sai Teja » Mon Feb 05, 2018 6:51 am

I designed a development board based on ESP32-WROOM-32 . Initially everything worked well. But suddenly my ESP32 stopped working :( . After debugging, I found out that ESP-32 module's power pin (3V3) and Gnd pin showing connectivity. I don't know why this happened.

At what situation this happens? And please tell the precautions to avoid such conditions to happen.

Please help me in this regard.

What exactly do you mean with 'connectivity'?

He means power and ground show low impedance aka short

I agree that is likely, but I'd like some more info: how did he measure it? Is the Wroom32 still in circuit? For all we know, he's charging a huge external capacitor with his multimeter and seeing that as a short.
