Hello,
I'm developing a solution that needs to use directional bluetooth. I know I can use the modules with u.fl connector with a directional antenna.
My question is, if I use a module that besides the uf.l connector also has the omnidirectional antenna on the pcb. Will the signal be radiated by the two? In case I will have a signal coming out through the directional antenna and another directional signal coming out of the pcb antenna?
This is the module I'm thinking of using.

No only 1 antenna is connected to rf path
Re: ESP32 WROVER USING U.FL AND PCB ANTENNA
So, if i use an antenna on the u.fl connector the module will automatically stop using the pcb antenna? Or i have to do something on the hardware and choose this manually?
These resistors have anything to do with this choice?

Yes, exactly. On the ESP32-WROVER-IB (I for IPEX) model that jumper will connect the antenna connector to the rf path and on the ESP32-WROVER-B model it will connect the pcb antenna to the rf path.

Sorry to resurrect an old post - but how exactly do you connect an externall antenna to the ESP32-WROVER-B?
